How To Draw A Cartoon Snail – Allow’s Contact Initiated!
Step 1
We have a really fun design for you in this guide on drawing a cartoon snail! For this first step, we’ll start with the most notable aspect of a snail’s head, its eyes. Each eye is at the end of a thin stalk, and although they are exaggerated in this design, real snails have eyes like these too! Each eye will be drawn in an oval shape, with an eyelid drooping over the top of each. Then there will be a circle inside each one, and then there will be another black circle inside each one. Finally, finish this step by drawing those thin rods we mentioned earlier that go below the eyes.
Step 2: Remove some more additional of her countenance.
For this second step of your cartoon snail, we will draw more of this snail’s head and face. First, we will extend her face lower by drawing a slightly curved line down from the left eye shaft. This will then turn into a curved mouth that forms a big smile! We will then add a row of curved teeth with other details like a tongue inside. Finally, draw a bit more of the snail’s neck going down, and we’ll continue.
Step 3: Directly remove some more additional of the body.
Now we’ll keep adding to this snail’s body as we move to step three. The snail’s chest will be drawn with a rounded angled tip leaning to the right. This will turn into a curved, wavy line for the body’s base. Finally, a thin, pointed tail section will be at the end of the body’s base. There will be a space at the back of the snail, but we’ll fill it in as soon as we move on to the next steps!
Step 4: Meet the Body Outline
It’s time to finish the outline of your cartoon snail drawing in this step! It would just be a slug without its shell, so we’ll add one in this step. The shell has a rounded outline, which extends inward in the form of a spiral. We’ll also add smaller curved lines inside this outline for extra texture. In the next step of the guide, we’ll add even more details to make this case even better, so let’s get to step 5!
Step 5: Currently, you can count the last elements for this funny crawler.
We’ll add some color to this drawing in the last step of our guide on how to draw a cartoon snail, but first, we’ll add some final details to make it even better! As you can see in the sample image, we added minor curved line details to each snail section, including the eyes, shell, and body. You can also add other details of your choice if you want even more texture detail, and you can add more as well. It can be a lot of fun designing and drawing background, and you can get creative with the settings you can place this snail in. This is a stage where you can show how creative you can be!
